Huawei P40 Lite 5G Silver

Huawei added the P40 Lite 5G to the P40 series in May 2020. This affordable 5G phone differs from the normal P40 Lite in a number of ways. For example, the four cameras on the back are not placed in a square but in a vertical line below each other.

The dimensions and screen size are slightly larger, although the difference is minimal. And the main camera has more megapixels: 64-MP at 48-MP. It also has a 6.5-inch display, fingerprint scanner, dual SIM, 128GB storage space, and 6GB RAM. The Huawei phone is available in Space Silver, Crush Green, and Midnight Black.

Without Google services

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G does not support Google services. Instead of Google Play Services, Huawei offers its own Huawei Mobile Services. Not all apps are compatible with this which means that not all apps work (optimally). Please take this into account when purchasing this phone.

Four cameras for different situations

On the back of the smartphone, Huawei has placed four cameras. The 64-megapixel main camera is used for normal, high-quality photos and videos. And for group photos or large landscapes, use the 8-megapixel camera with ultra-wide-angle lens. Here you can capture more in a single image.

For portraits with a depth-of-field effect, use the 2-megapixel camera with depth-of-field sensor. A bokeh effect blurs the background while keeping your subject in focus. Finally, the P40 Lite 5G has a 2-megapixel camera with macro lens, which you can use for high-quality, detailed close-ups of plants and small animals.

High-quality 6.5-inch display

The front of the device is mainly only display. The 6.5-inch display has thin bezels and is only interrupted by a small notch containing the 16-megapixel selfie camera. And with a screen resolution of 2400x1080 you can enjoy high-quality images, ideal for series, games, and other content.

128GB expandable storage space

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G has a storage capacity of 128GB of which the operating system occupies a small part. The rest is used to store apps, games, photos, and videos. Do you need more storage space? Then insert a Huawei Nano Memory Card.

Space for two SIM cards thanks to dual SIM

The P40 Lite 5G is a dual SIM phone, which means there is room for two SIM cards. This way you can add an extra phone number: useful to keep work and private life separate. So you no longer have to walk around with two different phones.

Huawei has equipped the P40 Lite 5G with Huawei SuperCharge. This is Huawei's own quick charging technology which enables 40W quick charging. This allows the 4000mAh battery to be charged in no time. In practice, this means that the battery is 70% charged in half an hour.
