  1. Access settings: swipe up from the bottom of the screen and tap Settings.
  2. Search for Factory Reset: use the search bar at the top and type Factory Reset or Factory Settings.
  3. Tap on Reset Options: from the search results, tap Reset Options.
  4. Erase all data: choose Erase All Data (Factory Reset).
  5. Confirm reset: tap Erase All Data again to confirm your action.
  6. Wait for reset: your device will now reset and reboot. This may take a few minutes.

  • Back up your data: use Google Drive or another cloud service to back up important files, such as photos, videos, contacts, and documents.
